Physiotherapy Assessment
Purpose
To assess a child’s physical development through physiotherapy and exercise, helping parents understand their child’s needs and choose the most suitable treatment or training plan.
The service also provides professional advice on ways to improve a child’s physical fitness.
Age
18 months and above
Assessment Scope
The assessment covers a child’s overall physical development, including sensory-motor skills, skeletal development, muscle strength, sitting and walking posture, balance, motor coordination, and any physical difficulties in daily life.
Professional consultation and recommendations will also be provided based on the child’s overall developmental status.
Assessment Process
The assessment is conducted individually. It includes a detailed assessment and clinical observation, followed by a detailed explanation of the results and diagnosis for parents.
Remarks

The full assessment includes three parts: the assessment session and explanation of the results, which takes around 90 minutes, together with an assessment report.

This service is delivered by a physiotherapist.

The assessment report will be ready one week after the assessment, and parents will be contacted to come to our centre to review the report in person.
