精神科專科醫生鄧萬豪指，「抑鬱症就如情緒上的傷風感冒，建議不要諱疾忌醫。近年治療藥物的進展顯著，較新的口服藥物不但減少如昏睡、腸胃不適和情緒麻木等的典型副作用，而新式噴鼻劑能在24小時內發揮藥效，特別適用於急性自殺傾向及難治型抑鬱症患者。」
