Occupational Therapy Assessment
Purpose
To provide a comprehensive assessment tailored to each child, helping parents understand their child’s abilities and needs so they can choose the most suitable treatment or training plan.
The service also offers professional consultation for parents who need support in improving their child’s sensory-motor skills, sensory integration, social skills, attention, and coordination.
Age
Children and adolescents of any age
Assessment Scope
The assessment covers the child’s sensory-motor skills, sensory integration, sensory processing, eye control, visual-spatial perception, hand functions, social-emotional development, organisation, writing ability, self-care skills, self-management skills, and attention.
Professional consultation and recommendations will also be provided based on the child’s overall developmental status.
Assessment Details
The assessment is conducted individually, using standardised assessment tools and clinical observation to carry out a detailed evaluation of the child.
The findings will then be discussed with parents in detail, together with diagnostic
impressions and recommendations.
Remarks

The full assessment, including about 15 minutes for explanation of the results, takes around 1 hour. Please enquire with the centre for details of the full report.
